  • If you have any questions before the meeting, feel free to contact us by using the contact form.

If you know of a Folsom High student who may be interested in the mountain bike team, please let them know about the meeting and point them to this website. Looking forward to seeing everyone and to an awesome 2018 season!

We’re here to get more people on bikes.
(And have fun doing it!)

Welcome to Folsom Bulldog Cycling. The team’s goal is to provide students that have the desire to mountain bike the coaching and camaraderie that will help them achieve both competitive and non-competitive cross-country mountain biking goals in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Membership to FHS MTB is open to all Folsom High School students. We welcome all riders: from new riders up to riders who have seasons of racing under their belts. Our schedule revolves around and prepares for the spring NorCal National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) racing season. This doesn’t mean racing is mandatory – if just for education and recreation, athletes are more than welcome.

Our coaches and ride leaders are certified through NICA and our organization is run on a purely volunteer effort. We need parents to become volunteers, ride leaders and coaches–that’s how all of the current coaches got here. It’s great fun and a great way to get in shape! And remember: Your success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of athlete you are. Being coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and trying your best IS a direct reflection of your athleticism.
